Promise To(o)

Previous campaigns

On the 17th December 2015, five friends decided to start Movement On The Ground. An organisation of real, genuine people determined to help people on the move.

Never did we think – five years later – we would be standing here. With our boots in the mud. Still working with and for people on the move to make life a little more liveable. We truly hoped we wouldn't be needed. We truly hoped the people we support would have a safe, healing and dignified place to call home.

This year has been challenging on so many fronts. We have all experienced what it's like to have our hope tested in one way or another. That's why in 2021, we want to do more than hope, we want to promise!

In commemoration of FIVE YEARS of Movement On The Ground, and in the lead up to the New Year, we make FIVE PROMISES that will determine our course of action in 2021.

HOW CAN YOU TAKE PART?

We are and always will be a Movement of people determined to help others. If it wasn't for you, our loyal, caring and determined Movers, we wouldn't have been able to do what we have done thus far.

That's why, in the lead up to 2021, we invite you, our friends, partners, volunteers, donors and followers to make a New Year's promise to(o)! How do you promise to help in 2021?

Make your promise

OUR AMBITION

You have until midnight the 31st December 2020 to make a promise. Our ambition is to collect as many real, achievable and inspiring promises as possible!

Already made your promise? You can turn your promise into an immediate action but making a donation toward our mission. Your donation will help us fulfil our promises in 2021.

Come New Year's Day, we will reveal all of the promises we received and start the New Year on a positive and inspiring note.

Together, let's make 2021 the year of promise!

ABOUT MOVEMENT ON THE GROUND

We are Movement On The Ground. We are an organisation of real, genuine and motivated humans responding to a humanitarian crisis affecting the innocent men, women and children forced from their homes. We believe everyone, no matter who you are or where you're from, should live in a healing and self-sustaining environment. We dream of a world where people forced from their homes have the freedom to choose another place to call home.
