What do we want?
We aim to maintain a fixed presence on the island of Lesvos. We work as much as possible with the local community in the attempt to connect the locals with refugees. Our projects are all based on the goal of improving dignity for the refugee population.
In short term, we aim to provide a dignified way to help refugees on Lesvos. In long term, we aim to expand our Movement globally and help people all around the globe.
We believe every human has the right to a dignified and safe journey, especially when forced to move from their home country. To ensure we maintain our projects to help and improve the lives of such people, and initiate many more successful projects by 2030. For every action we take, we keep three crucial keywords in mind; Impact, Scale, and Disrupt.
· IMPACT. When preparing to take action, we always ask ourselves, are we making an impact on people’s lives? How can we make an even bigger impact? Our goal is to impact the lives of over 12 million people by 2030.
· SCALE. With the success of our Camp to CampUS concept on Lesvos, we plan to spread this project across the globe by 2030.
· DISRUPT. We always want to disrupt the game by being an innovative and impactful player in the NGO field.
After the EU-Turkey deal, we shifted our focus to the groundwork in the camps. Ever since, we have accomplished many projects. (please see our projects page for more details).
With these successes in mind, we now aim to maintain this momentum through a fixed presence on the island of Lesvos. We work as much as possible with the local community in the attempt to connect the locals with refugees. Our projects are all based on the goal of improving dignity for the refugee population.
Any contribution helps us in our mission to create a more dignified and innovative response to the refugee crisis.
