    Our Vision

A better world starts with building better communities.

    Movement On The Ground

We are a non-profit organization established in 2015, and in the center of all our missions stands the Camp to CampUs philosophy. This model harnesses the skills, experience, talents and ideas of residents to transform refugee settings into safe, healing, and sustainable environments. By providing the right tools and resources, we empower people to take control over and improve their living conditions, whether in camps, shelters or areas affected by natural disasters. At MOTG, Camp to CampUs is not just a methodology; it's a way of life, a working approach, and a guiding philosophy that has proven to be globally applicable to contribute to the dignified reception of refugees.

MOTG's journey began in Lesvos, and since 2015, we have been implementing our Camp to CampUs philosophy in both refugee camps and our community center (ERGON) we have created in Mytilene. Some of the programs and activities we implement and coordinate with community members include educational and sports programs, sewing, gardening, woodworking, digital learning lab, technical and construction projects, among others.
