Our vision

A better world starts with building better communities.

Our mission

Make social impact by bringing communities together and create a future for newcomers. We do this by transforming refugee hotspots into communities that are safe, sustainable, healing and enabling. From Camp to CampUs.

Movement on the Ground

MOTG is founded in 2015 at Lesvos Greece as a reaction to the European refugee crisis. At the core of our mission stands our Camp to CampUs approach. Following that approach, we build a community, together with (camp) residents. Not for them, but with them. With this approach we stimulate social participation of newcomers and sustainably facilitate social & local integration within a community.

Creating social impact. It’s all about people first, unlocking potential creating perspective and helping newcomers to move forward by making Camp to CampUs the norm for building communities. We envision a global Movement where people, organizations and governing bodies join forces to turn this approach into the global standard.
