The Dutch Postcode Lottery has awarded the Cruyff Foundation with a grant of 1 million euro's, to be used to construct 3 Cruyff Courts (2 on Lesvos, 1 on Samos) and to set up our multi-year Sports Program.
Our co-founder Johnny de Mol was surprised last Friday when he was a guest at Dutch tv show Koffietijd, where he was with Niels Meijer, Managing Director of the Cruyff Foundation.
The Sports Program is an essential element of our Camp To CampUs approach, with which we are creating a better future for everyone, together. Through this sports program we teach children values such as respect, sportsmanship, dignity and patience. It also builds bridges between the local community and the newcomers, as Greek children are also welcome to participate.
