Residents Creating a Garden For All

Stories

Gardening’s impact on mental health has recently made headlines worldwide, with countless studies highlighting how time spent in nature can reduce stress, anxiety, and trauma while increasing happiness.

Abdul Fatah, who has a degree in agriculture from the University of Kabul, is one man who knows those benefits all too well.

As a result, the Afghan – who has been in Lesvos waiting for his asylum for nearly three years – put together a team of MOTG community volunteers to create a relaxing green space for all camp residents to enjoy.

Another step towards a dignified, healing Camp to CampUs environment thanks to the endless talents of those forced to flee their homes.

We rely on donations to make projects like these happen.
