What would you do?

What would you do if 13,000 human beings were at your doorstep? 13,000 people lying on the side of a road in completely inhumane conditions.

What would you do if you witnessed their shelters destroyed, leaving them homeless without water, food and a place to rest their head?

What would you do if you have been an eyewitness for five years to a camp in which people live an inhumane existence?

What would you do when you see these 13,000 people lying there on the road, with their talents and skills and holding onto hope for a better future.

Their future? We wish we could tell you more about it. But right now, we must work to find solutions for the unfolding crisis at hand. What we know, is that we can't afford to wait. All we can do is listen to the voices that are screaming to be heard. To be there and make the people the centre of our decision making.

These are people that despite it all, deserve to be treated with respect and humanity. We aren’t there yet, but we will keep working until we find a solution. A humane solution. Where dignity is number one. Because that’s what we stand for.
